The Berkeley Type B Motor Drive, Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump is designed for fast priming, easy service access and dependable performance. All cast iron construction with a high inlet placement improves the priming ability of this Berkeley water pump. With a rapid action check valve to eliminate back flow and more easily retain prime in the suction line, this pump is capable of 25' of suction lift. External check valve is not required. With a semi-open impeller that is accurately balanced, this Berkeley self-priming pump is up to the task. Ideal for use as a transfer pump for filling vats, tanks and spraying rigs, stand-by fire protection for marinas, vacation and residential properties, irrigation pumps for lawns and gardens, farms, draining excavations, ditches and flooded basements and any other application where a heavy duty self-priming pump is needed. This Berkeley motor-drive centrifugal pump is also an ideal pump, due to the cast iron construction for use with emulsion base pesticides and weed killers.
