    The AMT 12DC-98, formerly 489G-98, is a 12 volt DC washdown pump that is specifically designed for septic service, pumper, marine, and OEM applications.  This pump has several features that help fight against moisture and corrosion such as: epoxy paint and special shaft seals, but is not supposed to be submersed in liquids.  Pump is NOT self-priming and requires flooded suction. The 12V DC motor has a 60-minute duty cycle.
