For general clean clear dewatering purposes to moving salt water and some liquid fertilizers and herbicides, look no further than the AMT 3824-99 transfer pump. The 4 horsepower Briggs and Stratton gasoline engine provides the power to transfer 9600 gallons of water in one hour and has a max total head of 120 feet. Using a semi-open impeller design, it can handle clear water to slightly muddy water with up to 0.44 inch diameter solids content. This powerful yet compact pump weighing only 40 lbs. is ready to go to work on your next project, on the farm, or in any liquid transfer operation. The pump has a convenient mounted handle. This pumps is to be used with nonflammable, non-abrasive liquids compatible with pump component materials. Optional EPDM Seal/O-ring/Flapper Kit (see Repair Parts List) is available for pumping “Alachlor Herbicides” (such as Monsanto's Lasso). If the fertilizer or herbicide is not compatible with Buna-N (standard) or EPDM (optional) rubber materials, do not use these pumps.
