Fluid Transfer

One of the most common applications for the Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pump, Fluid Transfer is often found in the paint and varnish, construction, chemical, oil, water treatment, mining, and marine industries. All-Flo Pump Co. diaphragm pumps can move almost any fluid, from the thinnest solvents to harsh elements like sand and slug, with no damage to the fluid or pump itself. 

Filter-Press

All-Flo Pump Co. AODD pumps are great for filter press applications within the agricultural, manufacturing, metal fabrication, food processing, chemical, paint and varnish, and wastewater industries among many others. The AODD pump's reaction to head pressure makes it an ideal candidate for filter-press applications. With a low resistance filter, large volumes of fluid can be delivered. As the volume to the filter increases, so does the resistance. When the head pressure equals the input pressure, the pump will stop transferring fluid so as not to consume additional energy. 

Dewatering

Water can accumulate in a number of ways and places, making dewatering perhaps the most common use for a diaphragm pump. AODD pumps are self-priming, and All-Flo Pump Company 2-inch model can prime itself up to 24 feet. In theory, you can drop a hose into the flooded zone of your construction site and begin dewatering immediately. 

Spraying and Cleaning

Combined with an air compressor, the pump allows cleaning chemicals, paints, and other fluids to be dispensed at a constant rate. Examples of dispensing, filling, and metering include dispensing ink into 5-gallon pails, filling 1-gallon containers, and metering chemicals for water treatment.
